The Family Behind Vancouver Shibas
We are a family breeder located just outside Greater Vancouver near Chilliwack, British Columbia. Since 2016 we have been dedicated to responsibly preserving the Shiba Inu breed through thoughtful breeding practices that prioritize temperament, health, structure, and breed integrity.
We focus on raising well-socialized, temperament-driven puppies that thrive in modern family homes while still reflecting the intelligence, confidence, and character that make the Shiba Inu such a remarkable breed.
Our Shibas are raised alongside our four young children, giving them constant interaction, confidence, and strong social foundations from an early age.

Through careful selection of both mothers and fathers, we strive to produce calm, affectionate, and well-balanced companions without compromising the qualities that define the breed standard.
Shiba Inus are known for their intelligence, confidence, alert nature, and strong personalities. We pair those defining breed traits with a strong focus on temperament, socialization, and adaptability to help raise Shibas that transition well into family life while still reflecting the character and spirit the breed is known for.
Upcoming Shiba Litters & Available Puppies
Our upcoming Shiba Inu litters are typically planned throughout the year, with puppies generally becoming available on an approximate 3-month cycle depending on timing and reservations.
Most litters range from 3–5 puppies and may include classic Shiba Inu colours such as red, sesame, black & tan, and occasionally cream. Because availability can change quickly, we encourage you to submit an application or reach out today to be considered for upcoming litters and available puppies.

Here’s how our process works.
Our story began with our founder, Janelle, whose passion for animals started at a young age while growing up on a dairy farm. Surrounded by animals throughout her childhood, she developed a deep appreciation for responsible animal care and welfare.
Her father bred German Shepherds, and she spent countless hours helping raise and care for the dogs and puppies, gaining valuable hands-on experience in breeding and puppy development from an early age.
At 16 years old, Janelle established her own breeding program and since then, we have remained dedicated to breeding healthy, well-tempered Shiba Inus.
Today, our puppies are raised on our small hobby farm alongside our young family, where they receive daily interaction, socialization, and individualized care.
